Why there is a build fee at all

The monthly plan pays for running the site: hosting, revisions, articles and support. The build fee pays for the weeks of work before launch, once, so the monthly price never has to carry it.

How paying works

    The payment page is Stripe's own. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch this site.

    A receipt arrives by email

    Stripe sends the receipt and an invoice for your records straight away. Nothing recurring is set up.

Before you pay

Is this a subscription?

No. The build fee is a single payment of $647. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again. Your monthly plan is a separate subscription, billed on its own.

Do I need to pay this?

Only if we have told you a build fee is due. On any plan ordered before Thursday December 31 2026 the build fee is waived, so there is nothing to pay here. If you are not sure, email us before paying and we will check.

Why is the amount the same on every plan?

The build is the same on every plan: the same typeset menus, the same custom code and the same launch checks. The plans differ in what we take on each month after launch, and that difference is in the monthly price, not in the build.

Is the payment safe?

Yes. You pay on a secure Stripe checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.

Can the build fee be refunded?

All sales are final, including the build fee. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge reported within 30 days, which is refunded to the original payment method. The refund policy says so in full.
